Coconut Lavender Body Wash
Ingredients
1 ½ Bars of Dr. Bronners Lavender Castile Bar soap
15 Drops Rose Hip Essential oil
15 Drops Tea Tree essential oil
2 Tablespoon Jojoba Oil
1/2 Cup Cocoa Butter Flakes
2 ½ Tablespoon Vitamin E oil
2 Tablespoons of Vegetable Glycerin
3/4 Gallon of Water
1 16 oz can Organic Coconut milk
1 Empty & Clean Gallon Jug or two ½ gallon jugs
1 Cheese Grater
Directions
1. Grate lavender castile soap & cocoa butter onto a cutting board.
2. Once you have your soap grated, put it into a large stock pot along with the two tablespoons of glycerin and water.
3. In a large pot on medium heat, melt the grated soap & cocoa butter, stir frequently. Your mixture will look like very soapy water.
4. Once the Soap has melted, set aside to cool for 1 hour.
5. After an hour, add coconut milk, stir well.
6. Then add Vitamin E oil, jojoba oil, & essential oils, mix well.
7. Then let sit for 10 – 12 hours. Be sure to occasionally stir mixture so that the coconut mixture will not separate. Making this recipe late afternoon will give you time to occasionally stir mixture, then sleep & wake up to a finished product.
8. When you wake the next morning… give it a good mix ! you will notice it will have turned into gel (or snot like).
9. With a funnel pour mixture into a clean empty Gallon or two ½ gallons. Also reuse a empty shampoo bottle, clean bottle very well and pour body wash into the container for immediate use.
